Privacy notice
This notice explains what Fairview Assistance Inc. collects through First Home Grants, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Information we collect
Submitting a lender request gives us the form details: first name, email and phone number if included. We also get the ZIP code for the house you want, your buying timeframe and the source page. Standard server logs are kept too, covering your device's address, which page you requested, the browser you use and the time, all so the site stays up and protected.
Your browser runs two things here: the 203(k) calculator and the income-limit lookup. Nothing typed there is sent our way. So your next visit starts in the same place, the lookup stores your last chosen state in your browser.
We use none of these: third-party analytics, advertising tags or cookies.
Who gets your request?
A single mortgage lender active in first-time buyer programs gets your request from us, so it can contact you about it. We may be paid by that lender for the introduction, and California plus several other states treat that referral as selling personal data. Authorities get data when the law requires it, and service providers get it to host the site and keep requests for us.
Length of storage
A lender request is kept only as long as needed to pass it on and answer questions about it. Once you ask, we delete it.
The rights you have
You may ask us to show what we have on you, send a copy, correct it or delete it. You can also keep it out of any sale or sharing. This applies in states such as California (CCPA and CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas. We handle a rights request the same way for everyone, with no fee and no penalty. Our do-not-sell page shows how you can stop us from selling or sharing your information.
Make the request by writing to [email protected] from the same email you used. You'll get a response within 45 days. With your signed permission, an agent can act on your behalf. A refused request can be appealed by replying to our answer.
Children
If you're an adult buying a home, this site is for you. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.
