Who can get Florida Assist (FL Assist)?
- You must earn less than the limits set for the county where you buy.
- Just first-time buyers (usually you haven't owned a home in the past three years).
- Your credit score must be at least 640.
- You complete a homebuyer education course before buying.
- You use it with a Florida Housing first mortgage loan (conventional or FHA, VA, USDA).
- The price cap depends on which county you buy in.
Most limits depend on your county and how big your household is. Our lookup of HUD income limits shows the median income for your area and where your household falls.
